Auto accident injury evaluation for Jackson patients

An auto accident injury evaluation helps identify what your symptoms might mean after a collision. We assess neck and back pain, headaches, sciatica, radiculopathy, and other soft-tissue concerns.

The visit is for people who need focused collision-injury care, not general primary care or workers’ compensation treatment. Your decision after the evaluation may involve continued observation, interventional pain care, or another medical referral based on the findings.

Patients in Jackson can use our clinics in Stockbridge and Buckhead. Attorneys may refer clients and coordinate records with our practice when detailed medical documentation matters.

  • Bring any available crash-related medical records and imaging reports.
  • List new pain, numbness, weakness, headaches, or changes in movement.
  • Ask how the findings relate to treatment and medical documentation.
  • Confirm whether MedPay or an attorney lien may apply to treatment.

How we approach accident-related pain

Focused collision-injury care

Our practice treats motor vehicle collision injuries, and our board-certified pain management physicians connect examination findings with interventional options. This service is the wrong fit for routine primary care or workers’ compensation cases.

A plan tied to your findings

Pain location, movement limits, and nerve signs guide the discussion. Depending on your condition, options may include an epidural steroid injection, facet joint injection, medial branch block, or occipital nerve block.

Records that explain the injury

We document symptoms, examination findings, and treatment decisions in a way that supports communication with patients and referring attorneys.

A client scenario this service addresses

A patient in Jackson may notice neck stiffness first, then develop headaches or pain into an arm. We check movement, pain patterns, and nerve function before discussing treatment. The next step depends on the examination and any records already available.

I had a great experience at premier injury specialist after my car accident. From the moment I walked in, Tracy, the patient coordinator, made sure I understood the process and felt comfortable. Tony, the medical assistant, did an amazing job explaining the procedure in detail, which eased my nerves. Dr. Vyas thoroughly reviewed my MRI and took the time to explain my condition and treatment options. He was very honest and upfront about the procedure, making sure I truly needed the injection before administering it. His transparency and genuine care for my well-being reassured me that this office isn’t just in it for the money — they are truly invested in their patients’ health. I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of pain management. They provide exceptional care with professionalism and integrity.

Questions about accident injury evaluations

From initial intake onward, what does an auto accident injury evaluation include before the work order is finalized?

Range of motion checks, a physical examination, pain assessment, and neurological testing form the core of the evaluation. We also review symptoms and crash details, then explain what the findings may mean. Depending on your condition, the discussion may include epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, or other interventional care. Premier Injury Specialists also prepares detailed medical documentation.

Do I need a referral before scheduling a visit?

A referral usually isn’t required for an evaluation. Patients can request a consultation directly in most cases, while attorneys may refer clients and coordinate records with our practice. Bring any available medical records or imaging reports, but don’t delay a request because one document is missing. Our team can explain what information will help the visit.

Which records should I bring after a crash?

Medical records, imaging reports, medication details, and attorney contact information can help us review your case. Bring a list of symptoms and note when each symptom began. If you don’t have every document, schedule the consultation and tell us what is available. We can explain which records matter for the next care decision.

How does the practice handle fear of injections?

Injection concerns are discussed before any procedure is considered. Our team explains why a treatment may help, what the procedure involves, and which alternatives may fit your condition. You can ask questions during a free consultation before agreeing to care. Results vary, so the examination and your goals guide the treatment discussion.

What changes the treatment plan for back pain?

Pain location, movement limits, nerve findings, and prior care can change the treatment plan. A herniated disc with radiating leg pain may call for a different discussion than isolated muscle pain. We review these details during the examination and explain whether interventional care, further review, or another step fits the findings.

Can MedPay or an attorney lien cover treatment?

MedPay or an attorney lien may cover treatment when the arrangement applies to your case. Billing depends on the available coverage and the care recommended after evaluation. We can discuss these options during the consultation. Ask your attorney or insurer about claim terms, because coverage decisions belong to those parties.

Who provides this collision-injury evaluation?

Premier Injury Specialists provides the evaluation through board-certified pain management physicians and a certified physician assistant. The practice focuses on motor vehicle collision injuries, including whiplash, headaches, herniated discs, sciatica, and radiculopathy. Our clinicians assess your condition and explain suitable treatment options without treating the visit as general primary care.
